About The Position

The Director of Remarketing Sales – West Region is responsible for leading the disposition of rental fleet vehicles through direct dealer partnerships across the western United States. This role blends strategic sales leadership, market analysis, and relationship management to maximize vehicle recovery values, accelerate inventory turn, and minimize holding costs. YOUR ROLE AT SIXT Leadership & Team Development You lead, coach, and scale a high-performing regional sales organization by recruiting, developing, and retaining top sales talent, partnering with executive leadership to execute company-wide strategy, and fostering a collaborative, performance-driven culture that rewards accountability and teamwork Sales & Revenue Management You develop and execute regional sales strategies to achieve remarketing revenue and profitability targets by overseeing inventory flow, pricing discipline, and sales execution, monitoring wholesale and retail market conditions to proactively adjust strategies, and ensuring consistent execution of sales processes, forecasting, and reporting Dealer Relationship Management You build and maintain strong relationships with franchise and independent dealer partners by expanding dealer network coverage through targeted recruitment and onboarding, conducting regular business reviews to drive performance and alignment, and negotiating dealer agreements, pricing structures, and commercial terms Market Analysis & Strategic Planning You perform competitive and market analysis to identify risks and growth opportunities, develop territory-specific business plans aligned with corporate objectives, and collaborate with corporate, operations, and analytics teams on national initiatives and best practices

Requirements

  • You have a Bachelor’s degree (required)
  • You have a minimum of 5 years of automotive sales or remarketing experience and progressive sales leadership experience.
  • You have a strong understanding of automotive wholesale markets and remarketing dynamics, understanding of vehicle valuation, and are familiar with dealer operations in the automotive retail landscape
  • You are proficient with CRM platforms and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • You have an understanding of vehicle valuation, grading standards, and reconditioning practices.
  • You are familiar with dealer operations and the automotive retail landscape
  • You have strong analytical, financial, and pricing acumen and you have excellent negotiation, communication, and presentation skills
  • You demonstrate a strong commitment to excellence by consistently delivering against revenue and profitability targets, outperforming market benchmarks on average sale price, optimizing inventory turn rates and days-to-sale performance, and driving dealer network expansion and regional market share growth
