We have an amazing opportunity for a Eastmont - Director of Rehab Services (Full-time) to join our team! Works collaboratively with Executive Director, Associate Executive Director and Department Directors to develop and promote plans for strategic planning. Oversees the entire rehabilitation program of Eastmont, ensuring quality care and services are delivered in a team atmosphere. Evaluates clients using appropriate neuromusculoskeletal tests, and gait and mobility assessments. Develops and implements client rehabilitation Plan of Care in collaboration with the physician. Provides physical therapy treatment to client. Documents and maintains electronic medical records on physical therapy provided to client, client education, and progress or change of condition, reporting any significant change of condition to the appropriate clinicians. Instructs family, caregivers, or restorative aides in carrying out the exercise program. Develops the Rehabilitation Services budget in coordination with the Executive Director for the annual budget. Provides in-service training to staff including body mechanics and restorative care techniques. This includes the Back Safety class. Communicates effectively with families, staff and support services to achieve client goals and meet service expectations. Performs case management functions regarding discharge planning. Coordinates rehabilitation contract services (speech therapies) with provider other than Eastmont. Works with external educational institutions regarding training for physical and occupational therapy students. Plans, coordinates and supervises all therapy students. Responsible for providing cost-effective health care; keeps current on new or revised physical therapy techniques / legislation. Supervises timely documentation by all therapists. Serves as a resource to staff and residents on issues related to safety, wellness, fitness, exercise, etc. Promote the Mission, Vision and Values of Transforming Age in all areas of responsibility, and demonstrate commitment to Culture of Excellence and strategic goals. Performs other duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in business administration, project management, or a closely related field.
  • Minimum of 7 years progressive experience in project management, process improvement, or business development roles.
  • Proven experience supporting large-scale initiatives and client engagements.
  • Strong communication skills, with a proven track record of working with executive and board-level stakeholders.
  • Experience with client relationship management, preparing polished client deliverables such as complex reports and visual/graphic presentations.
  • Ability to manage multiple complex projects simultaneously in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
  • Proficiency in working with multidisciplinary teams and demonstrating a culture of high performance and accountability.
  • Experience responding to RFPs.
  • Strong proficiency with Microsoft 365 – Microsoft Word, Teams, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook.
  • Completion of a background check.
  • Additional screenings may be required (including drug, physical, TB, and/or fingerprinting) per state/local guidelines.

Nice To Haves

  • Knowledge of project management principles, data analytics, visualization skills, as well as process improvement and change management principles are a plus.
  • Deep knowledge of the aging services sector or similar regulated industries, preferred.
  • Demonstrated innovation in the identification and capture of new business opportunities.
