About The Position

A healthcare organization is seeking an experienced Director of Recruitment & Human Resources to lead hiring, HR operations, compliance, and workforce development.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Healthcare Administration, Business, or related field
  • 5+ years of HR leadership experience
  • 3+ years of healthcare recruitment experience
  • Strong knowledge of New York State labor laws
  • Experience with payroll and benefits administration
  • Excellent leadership, organizational, and communication skills
  • Ability to manage multiple HR functions in a fast-paced environment

Responsibilities

  • Lead full-cycle recruitment for clinical and non-clinical roles
  • Develop staffing strategies to support growth and compliance
  • Manage recruitment pipelines and sourcing strategies
  • Create job descriptions aligned with healthcare regulations
  • Implement screening processes, interviews, and hiring workflows
  • Oversee background checks and reference verification
  • Monitor recruitment metrics and performance
  • Oversee HR policies and ensure compliance with labor laws
  • Maintain employee handbook and HR documentation
  • Manage employee relations and performance management
  • Oversee onboarding, training, and credential tracking
  • Develop workforce training and retention initiatives
  • Oversee payroll, timekeeping, and benefits administration
  • Ensure compliance with wage and hour laws and healthcare regulations
  • Conduct HR audits and develop policies and SOPs
