About The Position

Job Summary: Serve as the principal advisor to the Head Coach and Director of Football Operations on all football related recruiting activities and regulations. Essential Functions: Responsible for the following: Gather and report character or injury concerns that arise to the HC and Director of Football Operations Develop an integrated team “Big Board” before spring recruiting. This board should include underclassmen. Evaluate front board candidates and/or candidates with grade discrepancies to insure multiple independent evaluations. Provide gap coverage as needed. Provide quality control of high school player scouting grades. Responsible for maintaining and reporting critical high school scouting information. Monitor/quality control high school character reporting to include producing consolidation reports. Coordinate executive Official/Unofficial visits. Maintain high school watch list. Update early board by adding players to the Jump Forward List. Assist Jump Forward Software developers with our database and system development. Monitor other team talent acquisition activity (offer, official/unofficial visits, etc.). Assist HC and Director of Football Operations as directed. Consistently evaluate our own roster in preparation for quarterly roster review meetings. Have a full understanding of our team needs and potential team acquisitions around the FBS. Monitor social media. Aid Director of Football Operations with communicating flights for official visit player for potential signings. Responsible for evaluating high school talent in preparation for spring recruiting; this includes both area players and cross checks. Aid in the development and growth of the Recruiting Interns, being a help to them in any way. Provide support to all members of the player personnel staff, including all other necessary activities for the efficient operation of the department. Additional Position Information: Education: Requires a relevant Bachelor's Degree. Experience: Requires a minimum of 1 (one) year of experience in performing college recruiting activities.
