About The Position

We’re looking for a Director of Recruiting to design, lead, and continuously optimize a high-impact, data-driven recruiting engine—one that attracts top veterinary talent and positions Encore as an employer of choice nationwide. This position will report to the Vice President of Growth. Requirements

• 5+ years of recruiting or talent acquisition experience, including leadership
• Proven success in building candidate engagement campaigns and measurable pipelines
• Strong analytical, critical thinking, writing, and communication skills
• Experience in multi-site organizations; veterinary experience strongly preferred
• ATS/CRM expertise (GEM and iCIMS preferred)
• Strategic, collaborative, and comfortable operating in a fast-paced environment

Responsibilities

• Lead Encore’s enterprise-wide recruiting and talent attraction strategy
• Build high-quality, scalable pipelines with a strong focus on veterinarian recruiting
• Own employer branding and recruitment marketing in partnership with Marketing
• Design and optimize sourcing strategies, CRM workflows, and engagement campaigns
• Use data and analytics to improve funnel performance, ROI, and time-to-fill
• Oversee recruiting events, student programs, and CVT recruiting initiatives
• Manage and develop recruiting team members and vendor relationships
• Work closely with Human Resources on compliance, offers, onboarding, resources and more
