About The Position

The Director - Medical Imaging role is responsible for the development, implementation, operation and maintenance of efficient systems that provide patient centered, community focused, cost effective, clinically effective, coordinated care for Diagnostic Imaging Services. The Director has primary responsibility for financial management and cost control, development and implementation of operating strategies, personnel, data management, and safety and regulatory compliance. Based on location, this role may be assigned responsibility for other services. Requirements

  • Graduate of an approved School of Radiologic Technologist program required. If approved, graduation from a respiratory therapy program may be substituted.
  • Current State License required in one of the diagnostic modalities required.
  • ARRT or RRT required.
  • Five years of experience in a hospital setting required.
  • Three years of progressive leadership experience preferred.

Nice To Haves

  • Bachelor's Degree preferred.
  • Master's Degree preferred.
  • Emphasis in Imaging Services, Laboratory or Respiratory Therapy preferred.
