About The Position

Position Purpose: Offer outstanding service to members and guests in the Racquet Sports Department at Woodmont Country Club. Always seeking ways to enhance the member’s/guest’s experience and promote and provide all racquet sports, and any other requests made by members or guests. Requirements

  • Excellent written and oral (English) communication skills required.
  • Previous administrative work with very strong computer skills (proficient with all Microsoft products, emails, etc)
  • Has tennis, pickleball, platform or padel experience (either playing or working in the environment).
  • Minimum 5+ years of experience.
  • Relevant certification for tennis, pickleball, platform and padel (USPTA/RSPA/USTA/PPA/PTPA)

Responsibilities

  • Handles court, lessons, groups and clinics for the racquets center
  • Assists with junior program (tennis and pickleball) where necessary
  • Assists Director with events, programs, member tours, and other related elements for the racquets department
  • Is proficient and effective in running the club reservation system, calendar of events and other administrative platforms related to racquet sports such as RacquetPass etc
  • Handles member lesson and clinics charges in Club Essentials
  • Handles re-string and re-grip orders when necessary
  • Presents a clean and professional image and wears club provided clothing
  • Promotes and sells tennis merchandise and services.
  • Sets up and puts away balls, equipment and other racquets department items as necessary.
  • Performs any and all other duties as assigned by Director of Racquet Sports.
