Conduct quality assurance and control across 3 Louisville operations, ensuring that products and services meet established quality standards. This includes inspecting processes, equipment and outputs to maintain operational excellence, in addition to managing all continuous improvement initiatives. Develop and maintain quality management policies and procedures that align with organizational objectives. This involves ensuring that all employees are aware of and adhere to these policies. Lead and mentor the quality assurance team, providing guidance and training to ensure that all team members are equipped to meet quality objectives. Also, evaluates team performance and fosters a culture of continuous improvement. Gather, analyze, and manage quality related data to identify trends and areas for improvement. Regular reporting to senior management on product quality and compliance issues will be required. Act as an ambassador for the company by addressing customer concerns related to quality ensuring that customer expectations are met or exceeded. Collaborate with senior leadership to align quality management strategies with business goals, driving operational excellence and contributing to the organization’s long-term success. Manage and facilitate all continuous improvement initiatives and strategies. Drive a continuous improvement culture within the organization by prioritizing opportunities and execution of lean transformation strategy and metrics. Drive plant cost savings initiatives and provide guidance for projects and kaizen events.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s in Quality management, Engineering, or related field is preferred.
  • Minimum of 5-7 years of experience in quality assurance roles within a manufacturing environment.
  • Strong communication skills across all levels of the organization is a must.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, ability to lead and mentor quality assurance teams, and proficiency in quality management systems and relevant regulatory compliance matters.
  • Experience in project planning, execution, and collaboration across cross-functional teams is essential.
  • Strong understanding and demonstrated ability to execute improvements through 5S, Kaizen, Root-cause analysis, value stream mapping and other lean manufacturing tools.
