About The Position

The Director of Quality and Compliance is a key member of the leadership team, and works collaboratively with Program Directors and Senior Leadership, to ensure compliance and clinical quality, and promote health equity. Reporting to the Chief Operating Officer, this dynamic role provides an exciting opportunity to make a significant contribution to Liberation Programs' mission, vision and values.

Nice To Haves

  • Bachelors degree or higher in Health Systems Management or a related field preferred.
  • In-depth knowledge and leadership experience related to CT DMHAS standards of care, CT DPH and SAMHSA regulations, and CARF accreditation process, as well as the DDaP data management and upload protocols.
  • Expertise inquality improvement analyses and initiatives with a health equity lens, and CT DMHAS Provider reporting requirements
  • Hands-on experience with computer systems such as EMR
  • Must have strong oral and written communications skills, analytical skills, and the interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively at all levels of the organization and with all stakeholders
  • Exceptional organizational and time-management skills
  • Strong knowledge of Medication Assisted Treatment and behavioral health

Responsibilities

  • Maintainsawarenessofstate,federal,regulatoryandaccreditingbodyandindustrystandardprograms, standards, and best practices.
  • Ensure compliance with all federal and state regulations for all programs.
  • Leads the quality and compliance team
  • Leads all licensure and accreditation projects and renewals
  • Facilitates site surveys are required by regulatory and accrediting agencies
  • Performongoingmonitoringandriskassessmentstoidentifypotentialsystemicorprogrammatic opportunities and issues, applying a health equity lens across analyses.
  • Team player and maintains positive and collaborative relationships with internal and external stakeholders,andserveasliaisontoStateagencies,regulatorybodies,andfunders,regardingclinical quality and compliance as needed.
  • Oversight of agency wide critical incidents. Responsible for submission of incidents to DMHAS. Respondtoallegedviolationsofrules,regulations,policies,proceduresandstandardsofconductby evaluating or recommending the initiation of investigative procedures. Review, revise and oversee system for reporting and closing incidents.
  • Key lead/administrator for the online learning platform Relias.
  • Refineandexecuteagency-widesystemofprogrammaticperformanceevaluationthroughcaserecord reviews, internal program and operational audits, internal and external data analysis, and the production of a wide variety of daily, monthly, and quarterly performance reporting.
  • Design data collection and reporting procedures, and utilize reports, chart reviews, surveys, inspections,andotherdatatodriveperformanceimprovementandpromotequality,safety,and health equity across programs.
  • Lead DDaP data management and reporting process.
  • Interprets and determines how to visually present data in a clear and effective manner that meets the needs of the state partners and other stakeholders.
  • Ensure any compliance concerns are documented and acted upon in a timely and appropriate manner
  • Develop and conduct targeted trainings for identified clinical needs or compliance concerns.
