About The Position
Oversees property management operations across a diverse real estate portfolio, including commercial and residential properties. Ensures high-quality tenant experiences, operational efficiency, and optimal property performance while maintaining compliance with regulations and company standards.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Real Estate, Business, Finance, or related field (Certified Property Manager designation preferred)
- A California Department of Real Estate salesperson's license
- 7+ years of property management experience, including leadership roles overseeing commercial and residential properties
- Strong knowledge of property operations, maintenance, tenant relations, and regulatory compliance
- Experience with property management software (e.g., Yardi, MRI, Entrata) and financial reporting systems
- Strong analytical and organizational skills with attention to detail
Responsibilities
- Lead property management teams across commercial and residential properties, including hiring, training, and performance management
- Develop and implement operational policies and procedures to ensure consistency and efficiency across the portfolio
- Oversee day-to-day property operations, including maintenance, vendor management, and tenant services
- Monitor financial performance, including budgets, expenses, and revenue, and implement strategies to maximize profitability
- Ensure compliance with all local, state, and federal regulations, including safety and environmental standards
- Partner with leasing, asset management, and acquisitions teams to support property performance and strategic initiatives
- Manage tenant relations, including resolving escalated issues, disputes, and lease enforcement matters
- Track and analyze key performance metrics, including occupancy, retention, operational costs, and maintenance response times
- Oversee capital projects, renovations, and preventive maintenance programs to maintain property value and appeal
- Coordinate regular property inspections and audits to ensure quality standards are met
- Develop and maintain reporting for executive leadership and investors on property performance and operational status
- Identify opportunities for process improvements, cost savings, and enhanced tenant satisfaction
- Ensure vendor contracts and service agreements are negotiated effectively and monitored for performance
