About The Position

This is a career-defining opportunity to jump into a high-impact product with significant traction, and define and bring to life a full tech-enabled services vision. We are in the middle of evolving from a state-specific, operations-driven system into a flexible, scalable platform that can support multiple programs and geographies. This is a systems design and execution role. You will define how the product works at a systems level—what is configurable vs hardcoded, what belongs in product vs operations, and how we scale without rebuilding. From there, you own building the right thing, and building it well. This is not a role for someone who prefers to operate only at the roadmap or strategy level without owning execution. You must have direct experience successfully building a scalable product at a Series A or B tech-enabled healthcare services company.

Requirements

  • 9+ years experience in product management, with a track record of defining product direction and shipping systems from 0 → 1 in complex environments
  • Expertise in decision making regarding first-party vs. third-party technology and product abstraction to build modular flexibility
  • Deep experience building for Medicaid populations or similarly underserved, vulnerable populations—healthcare, public benefits, or social impact strongly preferred
  • Experience leading discovery, design, and execution tightly supported by engineering and operations teams
  • Fluency in service design thinking, behavioral design principles, and accessibility standards
  • Technical fluency and experience collaborating with engineers in high-velocity, high-prioritization environments
  • Outcome- and impact-driven mindset, not just deliverables-focused
  • Strong systems thinking and attention to detail across large and small workflows
  • Clear, direct communicator with high standards for themselves and teammates
  • Comfort working in a fast-paced, startup environment with a high degree of ownership

Responsibilities

  • Partner with the CEO to define a cohesive vision for what is built first-party versus bought third-party, optimizing for caregiver and coach experience, performance, and scalability
  • Balance short-term operational needs with long-term system design as you define what we build today and what we are building towards in the future
  • Willing to take strong, well-reasoned positions on product decisions and push back when needed, including with leadership
  • Own the full existing Givers product stack, including the Givers App (caregiver-facing app), GiversOS (proprietary internal Care Team tool), and all third-party product tooling (CDP, CMS, product analytics, and more)
  • Build effective product processes for engineering-partnered prioritization, scoping, and delivery of high-impact work with limited resources
  • Take a first principles, user-centered approach to everything we build, both for our caregivers and our care team to create empathetic experiences that drive outcomes and simplicity
  • Develop robust PRDs with crystal-clear requirements, success criteria, and documentation. Ensure features are scoped with precision, reducing rework and maximizing engineering velocity
  • Partner with engineering and operations to ensure features are built to spec. Own robust QA processes and post-launch performance measurement and ongoing optimization
  • Partner with the Operations team to translate real-world caregiving and care team workflows into scalable product capabilities
  • Stay close to caregivers and care team workflows, including direct interaction when needed to diagnose issues and improve the product
  • Ensure all designs comply with accessibility standards and address the diverse needs of caregivers from varying backgrounds. Contribute to our evolving design system
