OmniOn Power is seeking a dynamic Director of Product Marketing to lead the product marketing function for our AI and Data Center power solutions portfolio. In this high‑impact role, you will craft compelling product narratives, shape go‑to‑market strategies and position our AC/DC rectifiers and DC/DC converter solutions for hyperscale, supercompute, and industrial data center customers. As a senior leader, you will work closely with Product Management, R&D, Sales, and Corporate Marketing to ensure our products reach the right audiences, communicate differentiated value, and drive meaningful business growth. This role is based at OmniOn Power’s headquarters in Plano, Texas. Travel to customer sites, industry events, and trade shows will be required periodically.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Marketing, Business, or related field (Master’s preferred).
  • 10+ years of product marketing experience in power electronics, data center infrastructure, or related industries.
  • Ability to travel domestically and internationally (approx. 20%).

  • Strong understanding of power conversion, distribution, and energy storage technologies used in data centers.

Responsibilities

  • Own go‑to‑market strategy & messaging: Build and execute go‑to‑market plans and differentiated messaging for new and existing power products.
  • Drive positioning & segmentation: Define value propositions, customer personas, and positioning across data center and hyperscale markets.
  • Lead product launches: Partner with Product Management, Sales, and R&D to manage launches, releases, and related enablement tools (case studies, demos, solution guides).
  • Conduct market & competitive research: Analyze market trends, customer needs, and competitive movements to inform product and business decisions.
  • Influence pricing strategy: Collaborate with Product Management to develop pricing approaches that balance revenue goals with competitiveness.
  • Serve as an industry advocate: Represent OmniOn in forums such as OCP and iMasons; engage partners to co‑develop solutions aligned to emerging standards.
  • Support marketing communications & events: Drive product content for conferences, trade shows, webinars, and customer‑facing communications.
  • Manage channel partners: Build relationships with distributors (e.g., Mouser, Digi‑Key), ensure accurate product listings, deliver training, and support joint demand‑generation programs.
  • Lead & develop your team: Manage and mentor a small team of product marketing professionals; build best practices for messaging and sales enablement.
  • Measure impact: Track KPIs (pipeline, win/loss, campaign ROI) and adjust strategy to meet business objectives.
