Director of Product Management - Personalization & Experience Platform Introduction to the Team: We’re seeking a Director of Product Management to lead the vision and delivery of a platform that empowers teams across Expedia Group to create adaptive, personalized traveler experiences—without heavy engineering dependencies. This platform will provide low/no-code configuration capabilities, enabling internal teams to orchestrate and optimize experiences across multiple domains at global scale. Your mission: build a modular, configurable system that abstracts complexity, accelerates innovation, and ensures consistency across brands. This role requires strong platform thinking, technical fluency, and the ability to lead a team of product managers while influencing engineering, design, and data science to deliver a foundation that adapts to diverse traveler needs worldwide.

Requirements

• 12+ years of product management experience, including 5+ years in leadership roles.
• Proven success in building and scaling platform products that enable multiple product teams and support large-scale consumer experiences.
• Strong technical fluency in platform architecture, API design, and low/no-code systems.
• Experience with personalization, orchestration, or experience configuration platforms.
• Ability to influence and collaborate across engineering, data science, and design teams.
• Strategic thinker with a bias for action and a passion for enabling innovation through platforms.

Nice To Haves

• Experience in marketplaces or personalization platforms.
• Familiarity with adaptive UI frameworks, workflow orchestration, or modular design systems.
• Prior experience at scaled tech companies or platform-centric organizations.

Responsibilities

• Lead and mentor a team of product managers, fostering a culture of innovation and accountability.
• Define and own the platform vision and multi-year roadmap for adaptive experience configuration and orchestration.
• Deliver core capabilities—low/no-code tooling, orchestration layers, and APIs—that enable flexibility and speed for product teams.
• Partner with engineering and ML teams to integrate personalization and optimization logic into configurable workflows.
• Drive scalability, modularity, and performance, ensuring global applicability and compliance.
• Establish governance and lifecycle management for templates, configurations, and orchestration logic.
• Monitor industry trends in experience platforms, low/no-code systems, and adaptive UI frameworks to inform strategy.
• Advocate for technical excellence, including modular design, observability, and responsible AI practices.
• Influence investment decisions and platform strategy based on leverage and business impact.
• Serve as a thought leader for platform-first product development, shaping best practices across the organization.
