About The Position

We are seeking an execution oriented hands-on Director of Product Management Operations to run and continuously improve the Product Management operating system across our product organization while enabling visibility, collaboration and interaction cross-functionally. This role exists to make Product Managers more effective by providing clear operating rhythms, practical tools, and disciplined execution practices, to ensure customer engagement practices deliver product results, and ensure cross functional operational collaboration and visibility.

Requirements

  • 10+ years of Product Management Operations experience supporting Product organizations at scale.
  • Deep understanding of how Product Managers plan, execute, launch, and learn.
  • Proven ability to improve PM effectiveness through operating discipline and enablement.
  • Modernize PM practices with automation, AI and other techniques.
  • Strong cross-functional facilitation and influence skills.
  • Experience in SaaS or enterprise product environments.
  • Pragmatic judgment about when structure is needed and when it is not.

Responsibilities

  • Run the Product Management Operating System
  • Own and operate the end-to-end Product Management lifecycle, including:
  • Annual and quarterly planning mechanics
  • OKRs and outcome tracking
  • Roadmap standards and artifact hygiene
  • Execution visibility and delivery cadence
  • Post-launch reviews and learning loops
  • Ensure processes are lightweight, consistent, and used by PMs.
  • Enable PM Execution
  • Partner with Product Managers to translate strategy into clear, executable plans.
  • Improve predictability and follow-through without owning prioritization or scope.
  • Identify execution gaps and address them through process, tooling, or coaching.
  • Cross-Functional Enablement
  • Embed collaboration with Engineering, Design, Marketing, Sales, Support, and Customer Success into PM workflows.
  • Ensure PM artifacts support downstream needs such as launch readiness, enablement, and support.
  • Reduce friction caused by unclear handoffs or inconsistent practices.
  • Product Metrics & Insights
  • Standardized and outcome-oriented customer design, partnership and feedback programs.
  • Define and maintain PM-level metrics that reflect execution health and outcomes.
  • Standardize how success is measured, reviewed, and learned from across teams.
  • Ensure PMs have access to actionable data to support decision-making.
  • Tooling, Templates & Practices
  • Own the Product Management tooling ecosystem.
  • Create and maintain practical templates, standards, and playbooks.
  • Continuously simplify and improve based on feedback and observed usage.
  • PM Ops Leadership
  • Build and lead a small, high-impact Product Management Operations team.
  • Coach PMs and leaders on effective, modern Product Management practices.
  • Act as a trusted partner and enabler—not a gatekeeper or process enforcer.
