The Buyer Experience product group is responsible for how buyers discover, connect with, and purchase our sellers' unique items. As Director of Product, Android, you will be responsible for the end-to-end buyer experience on Etsy’s Android app. You will lead four product squads spanning the full buyer journey, from discovery and inspiration through purchase, loyalty, and long-term engagement. Android is a critical platform for Etsy’s future, and the Android Product Director will guide the teams to move quickly, take smart risks, and push the boundaries of how buyers experience Etsy! This is a highly visible leadership role reporting to a Senior Director of Product. You will partner closely with Engineering, Design, Research, Data Science, and Machine Learning, and Marketing teams, as well as peers across Buyer Experience, Growth, and Marketplace product groups. This is a full-time position reporting to the Senior Director of Product. Candidates living within commutable distance of Etsy’s Brooklyn Office Hub or in the San Francisco Bay Area may be the first to be considered. The Buyer Experience team shapes how millions of people discover, connect with, and purchase from Etsy’s global community of sellers. Working end-to-end across the buyer journey—from inspiration and discovery through checkout, loyalty, and long-term engagement—the team balances customer needs, business outcomes, and the unique dynamics of a two-sided marketplace. This is a highly collaborative, cross-functional group that partners closely with Engineering, Design, Research, Data Science, and Machine Learning to deliver thoughtful, high-quality experiences at scale.
