About The Position

The Director, Product Analytics is responsible for the strategic ownership, development, and continuous improvement of the Volcorp's Member-facing product suite, including digital banking, lending platforms, member portals, and related applications. This role blends product management leadership with enterprise business analysis discipline, ensuring that products are aligned with member needs, business strategy, regulatory requirements, and technology capabilities. Serving as a senior partner to the Member Experience, PMO, IT, Operations, and business leaders, the Director defines product vision and roadmaps, translates strategy into executable requirements, and ensures delivery of high-value, compliant, and scalable solutions. In a small-to-medium credit union environment, this leader is expected to be both strategic and hands-on , setting direction while remaining closely engaged in execution.

Responsibilities

  • Product Strategy & Ownership Own the vision, lifecycle, and performance of the Volcorp's Member-facing product portfolio, including custom-developed software, integrated solutions, and 3rd party technology integrations.
  • Define and maintain multi-year product roadmaps aligned with organizational strategy, member experience goals, and regulatory considerations.
  • Establish product success metrics (e.g., adoption, member satisfaction, operational efficiency, ROI) and ensure outcomes are measured and communicated.
  • Oversee the deployment of analytics technologies to enhance data collection and reporting capabilities.
  • Act as the primary business owner for assigned platforms, accountable for value realization and ongoing optimization.
  • Business Analysis & Requirements Leadership Lead enterprise-level requirements definition across complex, cross-functional initiatives.
  • Ensure consistent, high-quality standards for business requirements, functional specifications, user stories, acceptance criteria, and traceability.
  • Translate strategic objectives into clear, actionable requirements for development teams, vendors, and system integrators.
  • Develop and implement organization-wide data integration strategies that utilize various data warehouse sources to enhance reporting.
  • Continuously work to improve data platforms, dashboards, and reports to meet emerging and challenging business demands.
  • PMO & Delivery Partnership Partner closely with Member Experience, PMO, and the Development/IT Team to support planning, prioritization, scope management, and delivery execution.
  • Provide product leadership throughout the project lifecycle, from ideation through implementation and post-launch optimization.
  • Support governance processes by contributing to business cases, prioritization models, and investment decision-making.
  • Balance competing demands across projects, enhancements, regulatory initiatives, and operational improvements.
  • Stakeholder & Executive Engagement Serve as a trusted advisor to executive leadership, business unit leaders, and technology teams.
  • Facilitate executive-level discussions to align priorities, resolve trade-offs, and drive timely decisions.
  • Act as a primary liaison with vendors and third-party partners when needed for product strategy, enhancements, and roadmap alignment.
  • Champion the Voice of the Member across all product decisions.
  • Member Experience Leadership Ensure Member-facing products deliver intuitive, consistent, and accessible member experiences.
  • Incorporate member feedback, analytics, and market trends into product decisions.
  • Drive continuous improvement of member journeys across digital and assisted-service channels.
  • Ensure products meet accessibility, usability, and compliance standards.
  • Testing, Readiness & Change Enablement Oversee user acceptance testing (UAT) strategy and validation of business outcomes.
  • Ensure operational readiness, training materials, and support documentation are in place prior to release.
  • Participate in post-implementation reviews to ensure expected benefits are realized.
  • Drive ongoing change management to ensure continuous product improvement.
  • Team Leadership & Capability Building Provide functional leadership and mentoring to Business Analysts, Product Owners, or cross-functional delivery teams (direct or matrixed).
  • Establish and mature product management and business analysis practices appropriate for enhancing Volcorp strategic alignment.
  • Develop standards, templates, and playbooks that improve delivery consistency and speed.
