About The Position

Direct procurement and purchasing operations and strategy to meet organizational requirements for quality, availability, volume, and pricing. Evaluate, develop, and manage strategic supplier relationships to optimize cost, performance, and reliability. Lead contract negotiations and oversee contract management and administration. Implement systems and processes to monitor supplier performance, assess risk, and respond to changes in demand or supply chain disruptions. Partner with cross-functional stakeholders to define current and future inventory requirements and manage inventory levels. Design and enhance procurement processes, policies, and systems to improve efficiency, responsiveness, and scalability. Utilize ERP systems, data, and analytical tools to evaluate procurement performance and support informed decision-making. Establish auditing and control processes to ensure procurement activities and recordkeeping comply with applicable industry and governmental regulations. Develop functional strategies, objectives, budgets, policies, and procedures to support the procurement function. Provide leadership, coaching, and oversight to procurement staff, including staffing, performance management, and development.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Supply Chain Management, Finance, or a related field.
  • Progressive experience in procurement, purchasing, or supply chain management.
  • At least 5 years of people management experience.
  • Demonstrated expertise in strategic sourcing, vendor management, and contract negotiation.

Nice To Haves

  • Advanced degree (MBA or related field).
  • Professional certifications such as CPSM, CSCP, or CPM.
  • Experience implementing or optimizing procurement systems and ERP platforms.
