About The Position

The Director of Practice Operations will be responsible for the operations of all assigned medical groups, and its subsidiaries. Other responsibilities include partnering with Hospital Administration to facilitate the successful accomplishment of financial, operational and quality goals; increased engagement of providers; and, additional affiliations with targeted providers. The Director will ensure staff meets the educational requirements for the respective job duties. The Director is responsible for staffing clinics, which includes recruitment and retention of staff. The Director is responsible for planning, organizing, and influencing department activities, while maintaining continuous quality improvement.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree preferred, preferably in business or healthcare management.
  • Master’s degree in business or healthcare management preferred.
  • Minimum of five years of progressively responsible experience in medical practice management required (with direct experience managing the revenue cycle).
  • Knowledge of Accounts Receivable management, coding, Medicare & Medicaid regulations, payor contracting, and Billing & Collections.
  • Knowledge of credentialing, regulatory compliance, etc.
  • Frequent local travel time required.

  • A reasonable compensation estimate for this role, which includes estimated wages, benefits, and other forms of compensation, is $101,212.80 to $146,619.20 on an annualized basis.
  • The exact starting compensation to be offered will be determined at the time of selecting an applicant for hire, in which a wide range of factors will be considered, including but not limited to, skillset, years of applicable experience, education, credentials and licensure.
