The Director of Practice Operations plays a pivotal leadership role in translating strategic vision into operational execution across all non-clinical areas. This individual ensures consistency, financial discipline, process optimization, and seamless integration of systems and teams. This role serves as the bridge between ownership strategy and day-to-day performance—overseeing operational systems, driving accountability, supporting growth initiatives, and cultivating a culture of excellence, hospitality, and continuous improvement. The Director reports directly to the Practice Owners and partners with clinical leadership, finance, marketing, HR, and external advisors to ensure alignment with brand standards.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree required; MBA is an asset.
  • Minimum 10 years of operational leadership experience in hospitality, luxury service, private healthcare, or other concierge-level environments.
  • Strong business acumen with the ability to operate at both strategic and tactical levels.
  • Proven ability to lead high-performing teams in a growth-oriented environment.
  • Executive presence with exceptional communication and presentation skills.

Responsibilities

  • Operational Excellence & Process Optimization Lead the development and operationalization of standardized systems, workflows, and protocols.
  • Optimize front office, treatment coordination, scheduling, revenue cycle, and patient communication processes for consistency.
  • Identify inefficiencies and implement measurable improvements in office flow, case acceptance, collections, and operational KPIs.
  • Serve as subject matter expert for practice management software, financial reporting systems, and operational tools.
  • Strategic Implementation & Change Leadership Translate ownership vision and strategic growth initiatives into actionable operational plans.
  • Drive adoption of new protocols with minimal disruption to daily work flow.
  • Align clinical and administrative teams around clearly defined objectives and measurable outcomes.
  • Communicate key initiatives and performance updates to leadership and team members to foster transparency and engagement.
  • Business Performance & Financial Oversight Monitor and analyze key performance indicators including: Production & Collections Case Acceptance Patient retention New Patient Acquisition & Conversion
  • Provide executive-level reporting with actionable insights and recommendations.
  • Support budgeting, forecasting, and cost control strategies.
  • Team Leadership & Talent Development Lead onboarding and integration of new team members.
  • Ensure cultural alignment and operational consistency.
  • Partner with clinical leaders to strengthen accountability and performance standards.
  • Support recruiting, staffing strategy, and workforce planning.
  • Develop and lead Departments in communication and presentation skills.
