About The Position

To oversee and manage the operations of the Maintenance, Engineering, Communications, Bio-Medical, Security, Valet and Front Desk as well as maintain regulatory compliance and adherence to all A.H.J issues and codes. To also oversee and act as hospital liaison for all construction projects and maintain current on all issues of joint commission compliance. Performs miscellaneous duties as assigned.

Requirements

• High School Diploma.
• Minimum 5 years hospital experience.
• Knowledge of codes and regulations as it pertains to hospitals.
• Required: Associate degree in facilities related field. Trade school education and additional five years trade experience may be considered.
• Required: 10 years progressive management experience with at least five years management experience in a hospital/healthcare setting.
• Required: CHFM certification. New hire can be given the opportunity to acquire certification within one year of employment if other qualifications are met.
• Tenet complies with federal, state, and/or local laws regarding mandatory vaccination of its workforce. If you are offered this position and must be vaccinated under any applicable law, you will be required to show proof of full vaccination or obtain an approval of a religious or medical exemption prior to your start date.
