About The Position

Lancaster Behavioral Health Hospital (LBHH) is a 126-bed, inpatient psychiatric hospital and start-up joint venture between Lancaster General Health/Penn Medicine and Universal Health Services. In addition to a general adult unit and dedicated adolescent unit, the facility offers services for treating those with co-occurring disorders on the psychiatric-medical unit, an intensive adult unit to care for those with severe conditions, as well as a women’s trauma unit. How will you make a difference at LBHH? The Director of Plant Operations is responsible to direct and manage the environment and safety of the hospital as well as to plan, direct, and coordinate activities of the Dietary Department. The Director of Plant Operations is responsible for completing the following duties and tasks: Conducts inspections and safety surveys to ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulatory agencies. Demonstrates knowledge of the Standards relating to the integrated services area of responsibility (housekeeping, & plant maintenance/safety). Defines and implements goals & objectives for continuous improvement. Plans and conducts monthly meetings for training, cross training and communications. Submit Annual Training Calendar for EOC employees. Implementation of housekeeping Unitization program. Surveys/audits conducts by regulatory and accrediting bodies reflect NO deficiencies with department. Meet all TJC, Federal, State, County, City or other governing body status of compliance to maintain licensure and or operating certification. What do our current staff value at LBHH? Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in relevant field or equivalent work experience required.
  • Five years Plant Operations experience in a leadership role.
