About The Position

As a full time, exempt CPS Solutions, LLC Director of Pharmacy , you will oversee all pharmacy operations including planning, organizing, controlling, and supervising activities, according to hospital policies, standards of practice of the profession, and state and federal laws. You will recommend innovations in the practice and function of the pharmacy to hospital administration and carry out mutually agreed upon programs with assistance from a full support team. About the Facility : Jennie Stuart Health is a not for profit, 194 bed, Joint Commission accredited h ospital, offering the following services: Emergency Care, Cancer Care, Intensive Care, Behavioral Health Services, Maternity, Neurology, Cardiac Rehabilitation, Pulmonary Rehabilitation, Surgical Services, Imaging Services, Perioperative Services and more. CPS Solutions, LLC has partnered with the hospital to manage the day to day operations of this pharmacy. This position is an employee of CPS Solutions, LLC. About the Pharmacy: The centralized pharmacy is open Monday-Friday from 6am-11pm and Saturdays & Sundays from 6am-8pm. Starting in October 2025, there will be Telepharmacy services to provide additional pharmacy support. CPOE is utilized 90% of the time with some cart fill/exchange to supplement, Pyxis Connect & Pyxis MedStation dispensing cabinets are utilized. Clinical programs include: Antibiotic Stewardship, IV to PO, Renal dosing and rounding with patient care team.

Requirements

  • BS or PharmD from an accredited School of Pharmacy
  • Kentucky Pharmacist licensure in good standing
  • Recent Pharmacy Management experience in a healthcare/hospital environment.
  • Ability to solve problems, establish trust and credibility.
  • Demonstrated teaching, relevant professional publications and involvement with Professional organizations.
  • Demonstrated ability to work independently, set priorities, make critical decisions, respond to client concerns and work cooperatively with other staff.
  • (PPD) TB Skin Test - Proof of negative TB skin test within the last 12 months
  • (MMR) Measles, Mumps and Rubella or A Blood Titer proving immunity
  • Varicella - (2) documented doses or A Blood Titer proving
  • Hep B3 Series (or declination)
  • (Flu) Influenza-required for hire between Oct 1 st -April 30 th
  • COVID Vaccine-Full (required)
