About The Position

The Director of Pharmacy is a vital leadership role managing pharmacy operations across two California-based healthcare sites. This includes oversight of the 340B Drug Pricing Program, supervision of pharmacy staff, and leadership of the Pharmacy & Therapeutics Committee. The Director serves as the Pharmacist-in-Charge (PIC) and ensures regulatory compliance while advancing access to safe, effective, and affordable medication services.

Requirements

• PharmD or BPharm from an accredited institution
• Active California Pharmacist license
• Minimum 5 years of pharmacy practice (FQHC experience preferred)
• 340B Program experience required; PIC experience preferred
• Strong leadership and communication skills
• Spanish-speaking preferred

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage day-to-day pharmacy operations
• Act as PIC for both sites, maintaining regulatory and licensing compliance
• Oversee 340B Program accuracy, reporting, and audits
• Guide the P&T Committee in medication policy development
• Supervise and mentor pharmacists, externs, and interns
• Collaborate with providers to enhance patient care
• Monitor inventory, procurement, and cost controls
• Participate in educational and outreach initiatives
