Role Summary: We are seeking a Director of Business Development, Pharmacy to lead growth initiatives for Eden’s pharmacy business following our recent pharmacy acquisition. This role will be responsible for defining and executing pharmacy-focused growth strategy, building and leading a national business development team, and driving high-quality, scalable partnerships that expand Eden’s pharmacy footprint. This is a senior, highly cross-functional role that works closely with Pharmacy Operations, Legal, Finance, and Executive Leadership to ensure partnerships are operationally sound, compliant, and scalable. Why This Role Matters This role sits at the intersection of growth, operations, and leadership. The Director of Business Development, Pharmacy will help define how Eden scales its pharmacy business nationally — not just by closing deals, but by building the team and infrastructure that supports long-term, sustainable growth. As Eden expands into new states and increases prescription volume, this role will play a critical part in shaping Eden’s pharmacy growth strategy.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience in business development, partnerships, or sales leadership roles
  • Experience building and managing distributed sales or business development teams
  • Direct experience in pharmacy, healthcare services, life sciences, or other regulated healthcare environments strongly preferred
  • Proven ability to source, negotiate, and close complex partnership deals
  • Strong people leader with experience coaching, hiring, and scaling teams
  • Highly collaborative with the ability to work effectively across operations, legal, clinical, and finance teams
  • Data-driven and comfortable owning forecasts, targets, and performance metrics
  • Comfortable operating in a fast-growing, high-accountability environment

Responsibilities

  • Own and execute the business development strategy for Eden’s pharmacy business
  • Identify, evaluate, and prioritize new partnership opportunities that drive prescription volume and revenue growth
  • Lead end-to-end deal execution, including outreach, negotiation, contracting, and launch coordination
  • Build strong external relationships with: Provider groups and medical practices Telehealth platforms Health systems and enterprise partners Other strategic pharmacy and healthcare partners
  • Build, hire, and scale a national business development team, including Sales Representatives and Account Executives
  • Establish clear roles, territories, performance expectations, and operating cadence for the team
  • Directly manage and mentor team members, driving accountability, performance, and professional growth
  • Create repeatable sales and partnership processes that can scale nationally
  • Partner closely with Pharmacy Operations to ensure new deals are operationally feasible and scalable
  • Collaborate with Legal and Compliance to structure agreements aligned with state and federal pharmacy regulations
  • Work with Finance and Executive Leadership to model deal economics, pricing, and margin impact
  • Track, report, and optimize partnership performance, pipeline health, and growth metrics
  • Represent Eden’s pharmacy business externally with credibility, clarity, and professionalism
