Nitra was created by unicorn founders who have successfully scaled to thousands of customers and exited $1B+ public offerings. They are joined by an ambitious and experienced team from American Express, Plaid, and Goldman Sachs. The team is backed by some of the worldâs leading VCs (Andreessen Horowitz, NEA, etc.) and is supported by an expert group of advisors including the cofounders of Square and Xendit, executives from Intuit, former Governors, White House senior staffers, and a co-founder of CityMD. We're looking for: A Director of People to own and scale our people function during a critical phase of growth. This role will partner closely with company leadership and hiring managers across Sales, Product, and Operations to align talent strategy with business goals, build high-performing teams, and develop the people systems needed to support rapid, sustainable growth. Youâll lead end-to-end recruiting strategy and execution while also owning core people programs, including onboarding, performance management, manager enablement, and employee experience. Youâll define hiring frameworks, standardize interview and evaluation processes, and ensure we hire consistently, fairly, and at a high bar. Beyond hiring, youâll design scalable people infrastructureâpolicies, processes, and toolingâthat support team effectiveness as headcount grows. This is a senior, highly cross-functional leadership role for someone who combines strong operational execution with strategic judgment. Youâll be hands-on where needed, trusted as a thought partner to leadership, and instrumental in shaping our culture, talent density, and long-term organizational health.
