About The Position

Serve as the creative and commercial strategist behind all hotel venue and outlet experiences, designing and executing a “best in class” strategy that drives revenue, deepens brand identity, and positions the JW Marriott Nashville as the premier destination for luxury hospitality, entertainment, and lifestyle. The Director of Partnerships & Activations is expected to lead all programming, promotions, beverage program negotiations, and brand activations across all outlets, as well as Special Events, Holiday Programming, and emerging ventures, while keeping quality consistent with JW Marriott standards. This position reports directly to the Hotel General Manager.

Requirements

  • Ability to speak, read, write, and understand English
  • Professional demeanor appropriate for a luxury environment
  • Minimum of three (3) years as Food & Beverage Director in a luxury high-volume hotel
  • Five (5) to seven (7) years of experience with a diversity of Food and Beverage management positions
  • Knowledge of hotel operations, including marketing plans, security and safety programs, personnel and labor relations, preparation of business plans, repairs, maintenance, budget forecasting, quality assurance programs, hospitality law, and long-range planning.
  • Proven ability to host/facilitate effective meetings, motivate teams to produce results with tight timeframes, while simultaneously managing several projects
  • Ability to utilize interpersonal and communication skills to lead, influence, and encourage others; advocate sound financial/business decision making; demonstrate honesty/integrity; lead by example • Ability to work well in stressful, high-pressure situations Education:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Hospitality, Business, or a related field is required

Responsibilities

  • Serve as brand steward in all partnership negotiations, ensuring alignment with JW Nashville’s luxury positioning and values.
  • Build a robust partnership pipeline that delivers co-investment, co-marketing, and incremental revenue streams
  • Develop and execute integrated promotional strategies across all outlets (Cabana Club, Cumberland, Stompin’ Grounds, 888, and Bourbon), Special Events, Holiday Programming, and F&B designed to drive awareness, increase frequency, and grow revenue.
  • Conceive, plan, and execute a dynamic, revenue-generating programming calendar across all outlets, including seasonal events, holiday activations, and signature experiences
  • Develop Cabana Club programming as a premier lifestyle destination, curating weekly and seasonal activations that drive daytime and nighttime revenue.
  • Design and oversee holiday programming (July 4th, New Year’s Eve, Memorial Day, etc.) that maximizes occupancy, covers, and ancillary spend.
  • Introduce recurring special events, pop-ups, chef collaborations, wellness series, fashion, art, and music that expand JW Nashville's cultural footprint.
  • Continuously measure, evaluate, and optimize events using revenue, attendance, and guest satisfaction data.
  • Champion and protect the distinct brand voice and DNA for each JW Nashville outlet, ensuring consistency across all consumer touchpoints.
  • Develop and execute annual brand strategies that elevate JW Nashville’s profile locally, regionally, and nationally.
  • Identify, pitch, negotiate, and activate strategic brand partnerships with luxury, lifestyle, fashion, spirits, wellness, and entertainment brands.
  • Manage sponsor and partner relationships from initial outreach through contract execution, activation, and post-event reporting.
  • Create compelling offers, packages, and limited-time promotions that generate urgency and incremental spend without diluting brand value.
  • Design and manage loyalty and VIP promotional programs that reward high-value guests and deepen long-term engagement.
  • Partner across hotel teams to build co-promotional packages that cross-sell the full JW Nashville experience.
  • Track and report on promotional performance, analyzing redemption rates, ROI, and revenue impact to optimize future campaigns.
  • Lead the development and negotiation of JW Nashville’s beverage programming strategy across all outlets, in alignment with brand positioning and revenue goals.
  • Negotiate and activate beverage sponsorships and on-premise brand partnerships that provide financial investment, product support, and co-branded activation opportunities.
  • Identify and develop signature cocktail programs and exclusive beverage experiences that differentiate JW Nashville’s outlets and command premium pricing.
