About The Position

The University Athletic Association at the University of Florida is searching for three Directors to be responsible for driving market-based growth across brand partnerships, marquee sponsorship assets, and third-party NIL relationships on behalf of the University Athletic Association. These positions focuses on direct sales, deal execution, and partner stewardship, with an emphasis on high-value, high-visibility assets such as field and venue branding, naming rights, integrated brand partnerships, donor-driven and donor-aligned sponsorship opportunities, and jersey or uniform sponsorships (subject to NCAA, SEC, and institutional approval). Operating at the intersection of brand partnerships and NIL enablement, the role collaborates closely with premium seating, marketing, compliance, and NIL stakeholders to sell, manage, and expand high-impact brand sponsorship inventory while facilitating compliant, market-driven NIL opportunities that maximize commercial value and strengthen brand alignment for Florida Athletics. These positions requires the incumbents to have strong sales, presentation, and relationship-management skills; have strong demonstrated success selling mid- to high-value sponsorships or brand partnerships; have working knowledge of the NIL landscape and regulatory considerations; engage effectively with others of diverse cultures or backgrounds; and work a non-standard work week which may include evenings, weekends, holidays, and some overnight travel as needed for partner development and industry engagement. Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in appropriate area of specialization
  • Five years of related work experience in sponsorship or partnership sales; sports marketing, brand partnerships, or agency environments; and professional or major college athletics
  • Experience negotiating contracts and managing partner relationships
  • Strong sales, presentation, and relationship-management skills
  • Strong demonstrated success selling mid- to high-value sponsorships or brand partnerships
  • Working knowledge of the NIL landscape and regulatory considerations
  • Engage effectively with others of diverse cultures or backgrounds
  • Work a non-standard work week which may include evenings, weekends, holidays, and some overnight travel as needed for partner development and industry engagement

Nice To Haves

  • Experience selling marquee or broadcast-visible assets
  • Experience working in a Power 4 or professional sports environment
  • Familiarity with NIL marketplaces, collectives, or third-party NIL platforms
  • An equivalent combination of education and experience may be accepted in lieu of listed requirement.
