The Director of Operations is responsible for the day-to-day operational leadership of Andrews Institute Ambulatory Surgery Center (ASC), ensuring safe, efficient, compliant, and patient-centered surgical services. Shares 24-hour accountability with the other members of the administrative team. This role drives performance across clinical operations support, scheduling/throughput, staffing models, supply chain, facilities, vendor management, patient experience. This position partners closely with the Administrator, Director of Finance, and Director of Nursing to implement organizational strategy, support growth initiatives, and maintain operational excellence. Planning for, and administration of, the managerial, operational, fiscal, and reporting components of the facility. Ensuring the development, implementation, and enforcement of all policies and procedures, including patient rights. Ensuring that all business operations positions are assigned duties based upon their education, training, competencies, and job descriptions. Ensuring the provision of staff orientation and staff education. Establishing and maintaining liaison relationships and communication with facility staff and services, with support services and community resources, and with patients.
