NaphCare Alabama Prisons LLC offers an exceptional leadership opportunity for an experienced RN or healthcare leader to be Director of Operations. The role involves learning correctional healthcare using cutting-edge resources, including an award-winning electronic operating system. NaphCare partners with correctional facilities nationwide to provide proactive, patient-focused, high-quality healthcare with teams of physicians, nurse practitioners, nurses, and support staff. The Director of Operations will have oversight for multiple facilities located throughout WA and will be instrumental in expanding NaphCare's footprint in the West.

Requirements

• Current AL DOC incumbent employee.
• Experienced RN or healthcare leader.
• Minimum of a Bachelor’s in Nursing or Healthcare Management/Administration or a comparable degree.
• Demonstrated knowledge of clinical operations.
• Experience in leading teams.

Responsibilities

• Leadership and mentoring on-site Health Service Administrators, who are typically Registered Nurses.
• Traveling to and supporting sites, while also launching new corporate initiatives at sites.
• Developing strong collaborative relationships with clients to pilot new programs.
• Responsible for ensuring that sites stay well-staffed and trained on the latest NaphCare process and procedures.
• Assurance of site compliance with NCCHC, ACA, and professional nursing standards.
