About The Position

The Director of Operations plans, organizes, and directs all operational activities in order to achieve clients’ objectives and ISS corporate standards of quality. The role taker ensures that all work is performed in accordance with contracts. The Director or Operations interfaces with District Managers on a daily basis and reports activities and results directly to the General Manager.

Requirements

• 2‐5 years Department Managerial experience and/or college degree preferred
• Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and processing software
• Excellent time management skills, leadership skills, and communication skills
• Demonstrate the ability to work independently
• Bilingual is helpful but not required

Responsibilities

• Plan, organize and direct operations to ensure performance of work in accordance with contract specifications
• Analyze quality and service of accounts and take immediate corrective action when performance deviates from corporate standards of quality
• Meet with customers on a regular basis to review quality of services and customer's perception of service
• Handle complaints pro‐actively
• Stays abreast of sales and marketing programs through meetings with marketing staff
• Interpret and implement approved operational policies, methods and procedures
• Develop and train subordinate managers, appraise performance and make recommendations concerning salary adjustments, promotion, transfers and terminations, subject to final approval by General Manager
• Ensure availability and adequacy of equipment, supplies and materials to meet the company needs at an economical cost
• Make recommendations concerning adjustments in contractual arrangements based on operational needs
• Review inspection activity. Review audit results with customer representative, District Manager, and General Manager
