The Director of Operations reports to the Executive Director. This position assists the Executive Director in the overall management and supervision of the Center and oversees the day to day operations of the facility including engineering, maintenance, event coordination, housekeeping, security, life safety, and regulatory compliance. The Director of Operations ensures effective coordination of all operational units and supports the safe, efficient, and professional operation of the Center. Responsibilities include conducting operations planning meetings, counseling and advising operational supervisory personnel, directing long range operational planning, coordinating interdepartmental activities, developing and implementing operating procedures and policies, ensuring compliance with safety, insurance, and authorization requirements, carrying out executive directives, and performing such other duties as required by the Executive Director.
