About The Position

The Director of Occupational Health (DOH) oversees operations, develops and maintains service lines, coordinates, and directs community relations' activities for the Occupational Health Program. The Director plans, implements, coordinates and evaluates GRMC's services for business and industry. The Director provides leadership, program development, and strategic direction while collaborating with hospital leadership to promote a safe and healthy work environment. This position is responsible for the development, maintenance and negotiation of contracts for employers, physicians, insurance companies and third party administrators with administrative oversight.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in a healthcare related field
  • Current Basic Life Support (AHA or American Red Cross BLS) certification
  • Minimum of at least three (3) years in a leadership or supervisory role in a hospital or healthcare setting
  • Knowledge of computers, Microsoft Office package required
