Cottage Grove Place is recruiting for Director of Nursing. This role leads the 63 bed Health Center (Long-Term Care and Skilled Rehab), including support from Administrator, ADON, MDS Coordinator, Unit Coordinator and Wound Nurse. Here are a few of the daily responsibilities: Supervise Health Center personnel to include hiring, training, evaluating and counseling within established policies and procedures. Supervise the ADON, Unit Coordinator RN, LPN, CMA, and CNA. Administer the schedule of nursing services/personnel. Maintain medical charting and required documentation under scope state regulatory guidelines for appropriate licensing and corporate policies. Serve as the department representative and coordinator of the Quality Assurance program for nursing services. Assess residents for change in level of care and coordinate billing for that level of care. Work closely with residents and families to develop & implement appropriate Plan of Care. Here are a few of the qualifications we need you to have: Graduation from accredited Nursing program. Currently licensed RN (Registered Nurse) with the Iowa Board of Nursing. Currently CPR certified. Minimum two (2) years experience in geriatric nursing and/or possess a bachelor's degree. Minimum two (2) years nursing administration experience, preferably in long term care. Requirements
