About The Position

Director of Nursing (DON) Responsibilities: To organize, develop, and direct nursing administration and patient care. Develops and maintains nursing service objectives and standards of nursing practice. Develops and maintains nursing objectives and standards for the building. Develop, implement, and maintain nursing service policies and procedures.

Requirements

• Registered Nurse with two years experience in long term care management.
• Experience as a Director of Nursing required
• Working knowledge of MDS, care plans, Medicare, Medicaid, and PPS.
• Diploma from a school of nursing or a two-year degree or higher in nursing required.
• Must have at least 1 year experience in a supervisory/nursing role
