Requirements
- Must be 21 years or older
- Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing
- Current Colorado RN license or Compact RN license
- 5 years of nursing leadership experience required
- 2+ years as a DON or ADON required
- 3–5 years of experience in gerontological nursing, with strengths in rehabilitative and restorative care
- Excellent critical thinking, judgment, multitasking, and prioritization skills
- A compassionate, resident-centered clinical approach
- Clear verbal and written communication in English (required)
Responsibilities
- Lead and manage a team of nurses and caregiving staff
- Supervise and support nursing operations during your shift
- Conduct resident assessments and lead care planning
- Promote physical, mental, and emotional well-being of residents
- Ensure regulatory compliance and clinical best practices
- Collaborate with residents, families, and interdisciplinary teams
- Provide leadership across the facility and respond to urgent needs
- Foster a positive, professional culture on the care floor
