About The Position
DIRECTOR OF NURSING & CLINICAL SERVICES Vista Specialty Hospital Director of Nursing & Clinical Services Job Summary:The RN Director of Nursing & Clinical Services is responsible for the 24-hour overall supervision, provision, and quality of nursing care in the Nursing Facility. The RN Director of Nursing & Clinical Services will be responsible for the selection, training, discipline and supervision for all nursing related health center personnel. The RN Director of Nursing & Clinical Services is responsible for procurement of appropriate supplies and equipment and operating within the departmental budget, and capitol purchases.
Requirements
- Minimum of a Bachelor of Science degree.
- Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
- Currently licensed as a Registered Nurse in the state of facility location.
- Two years’ experience in geriatric nursing.
- Minimum of two (2) years nursing administration experience, preferably in a long-term care setting.
Nice To Haves
- Participation in professional organizations, dealing primarily in geriatrics preferred.
