The Director of Clinical Services will support the overall company-wide management of Nursing and Clinical Operations. The Director of Clinical Services will direct high quality nursing services in accordance with established policies, procedures and laws regulating nursing practice. Responsibilities include: Support company-wide nursing and clinical operation functions to ensure safe and cost-effective operations. Sets high standards of performance for area personnel and ensures adherence to all company philosophies, procedures, and regulations. Leads oversight of Clinical Services team support to ensure clinical, ethical, and operational support to clinicians is available during and after business hours, especially where patient care guidance is required. Ensures that all nursing and clinical operations, practices, and procedures meet all licensing and standard requirements established by state, federal, and regulatory agencies. Ensures coordination related to Clinical Services support across company departments which may include reimbursement, sales and marketing, operations, procurement, human resources, and compliance teams. Develops and monitors Location Performance Improvement Programs, including location audits, in accordance with Company policies and procedures. Serves as a nursing practice information resource to the company. Contributes to professional body of knowledge and advancing the company within the industry through preparing papers, reports, posters, presenting, for Company management and professional publications and conferences. Maintains clinical skills and knowledge of nursing practice as it relates to nursing practice, intravenous access devices by reviewing the literature and attending in-services, seminars, and conferences. Conduct branch audits and record audits regularly to identify areas for improvement and ensure compliance with quality standards. Communicates effectively and follows established channels of authority and communications throughout the organization. Adheres to all Company Policies, Procedures, and Standards of Conduct covered during initial orientation and referenced in branch handbooks, guides, and manuals. Reports to the appropriate manager(s) any known or suspected of violations of policies and procedures, regulations, or standards of conduct. Schedule: Must be able to work Full time, Monday-Friday between the hours of 8am-5:30pm, flexibility as needed Must be able to travel 50% of the time or more, at times this may include evenings/weekends Must be knowledgeable of state licensing regulations, ACHC, TJC, URAC, site auditing for Specialty Infusion Pharmacy, etc. Must have strong clinical infusion and specialty pharmacy nursing skills
