Requirements
- Passion for Nursing Leadership
- 5+ Years Clinical RN experience in Acute Care required
- 2-3+ Years Nursing Leadership/Management experience required
- Regulatory Experience
- Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing is required
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) degree required
- Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) degree is required
- New York Registered Nurse (RN) License & Registration
- Basic Life Support (BLS) & Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certifications are required.

Responsibilities
- Represent the Medical Surgical, Specialty Care Clinic, and Wound Care Departments at both the Hospital and System level as required
- Manage the daily operations of the nursing units
- Ensure the departments function according to established regulatory authorities, and will collaborate with other department heads to identify and solve problems in the best interest of patient treatment
- Mentor, supervise, and evaluate the team to reach their full potential and inspire continual professional growth
- Participate in managing budgets, resource allocation, and scheduling
- Regularly assess unit operations and identify process improvements to enhance the patient experience
