Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in related field of study from an accredited college
  • Five (5) years of experience in fundraising, direct response marketing, digital acquisition, or consumer engagement roles, with a strong track record of revenue growth
  • Proven success in developing and executing multichannel mass marketing strategies across paid, owned, and earned media
  • Experience managing large-scale donor/customer acquisition and retention programs
  • Demonstrated ability to lead teams through change, scale campaigns, and manage complex go-to-market plans
  • Strong familiarity with CRM systems, donor journey design, and marketing automation platforms
  • Strategic thinker with strong analytical skills and business acumen
  • Data-driven with experience in performance marketing, segmentation, and optimization
  • Collaborative and cross-functional leader with excellent communication and influence skills
  • Ability to manage vendors and relationships with creative team, digital team, government affairs team, and PR team for optimal performance
  • Computer skills sufficient to perform essential functions including knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite
  • Must be 21 years old with a valid driver's license with at least 3 years driving experience in the U.S. to operate a vehicle on behalf of Bethany
  • Must pass a Motor Vehicle Records (MVR) check and maintain a reliable vehicle with proof of adequate coverage
  • Pass a criminal history screen, including state and local child protection agency registries
  • Subscription to and integration of the agency Statement of Faith, Mission Statement, and Commitment to Unity

  • Experience working in or alongside national organizations or multi-region campaigns is a plus

Responsibilities

  • Lead the vision, planning, and execution of Bethany’s mass market fundraising strategy to drive scalable revenue across all audience segments
  • Develop go-to-market strategies, including campaign roadmaps, segmentation, testing plans, and product positioning
  • Evaluate performance across products and channels, identifying opportunities to scale high-performing offers nationally and globally
  • Ensure all mass campaigns align with Bethany’s brand, mission, and global marketing framework
  • Design and optimize the donor journey, from lead generation through conversion, retention, and loyalty—to increase lifetime value
  • Lead strategies for acquisition, onboarding, monthly giving growth, and donor satisfaction
  • Build and scale upgrade, renewal, and reactivation strategies to improve donor retention across engagement streams
  • Integrate behavior- and insight-driven messaging to deliver personalized experiences and deepen engagement
  • Own the creation, innovation, and performance of mass market fundraising products and seasonal campaigns
  • Lead development and rapid testing of new giving formats, pricing models, and strategies
  • Collaborate with Creative, Copy, and Digital teams to ensure offers are compelling, clear, and optimized for conversion
  • Align campaigns with audience needs, balancing inspiration, urgency, and value
  • Oversee multichannel engagement across web, email, social, paid media, SMS, and offline, optimizing for acquisition and retention
  • Collaborate with regional teams to share best practices, tools, and creative assets that scale engagement
  • Contribute to organizational strategy discussions on donor segmentation, channel integration, and engagement innovation
  • Partner with data and analytics teams to define KPIs, track performance, and build dashboards for real-time reporting
  • Use insights from segmentation, journey analytics, and audience feedback to drive continuous improvement
  • Lead A/B testing and performance reviews to refine messaging, timing, and channel mix
  • Champion data-informed decision-making across all campaign and engagement strategies
  • Collaborate with Donor Engagement and other channels and stakeholders to advance mid, major, and planned/legacy
  • Foster a collaborative, mission-aligned, and performance-driven team culture
  • Partner with agencies and platform partners supporting media buying, creative development, donor care, and campaign execution
  • Partner with internal stakeholders across operations and support services to drive integration and accountability
  • Participate in Bethany-sponsored events as required
  • Essential job responsibilities may vary based on the specific needs of each program/department
  • May be required or asked to participate in a Bethany sponsored event
  • Complete other duties as assigned
