About The Position
The Director of Marketplace will lead the strategy, execution, and performance of all third-party marketplace channels, including Amazon, Walmart, and other platforms. This role is responsible for driving revenue growth, improving profitability, and ensuring operational excellence across all marketplace activities.
Requirements
- Minimum of 10 years of experience managing online marketplaces
- 4 Year Degree
- Verifiable work experience in marketplace or eCommerce management
- Strong understanding of Amazon Seller/Vendor Central
- Experience managing pricing, margins, and P&L
- Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills
Responsibilities
- Develop and execute marketplace growth strategies
- Manage and optimize all marketplace accounts
- Oversee product listings, pricing, promotions, and content optimization
- Lead marketplace advertising and promotional efforts
- Monitor performance metrics and report results to leadership
- Ensure compliance with marketplace policies and brand standards
- Coordinate with operations on inventory planning and fulfillment
- Manage and support internal teams and external partners
- Identify new marketplace opportunities and expansion channels
