About The Position

Our platform combines high-resolution imagery, advanced analytics, and agronomic expertise to help growers and ag retailers detect crop issues early and take precise action. We achieve this by fostering a culture of innovation, constantly seeking new ways to empower our customers. As Taranis continues to scale, we are looking for a Director of Marketing to lead and execute our marketing efforts globally, with a primary focus on supporting growth in North America. This role embodies our commitment to expanding our reach and impact. The Director of Marketing will own the marketing function at Taranis, leading both strategy and execution. This role works closely with Sales, Product, and Customer Success to drive pipeline growth, strengthen partnerships, and support customer expansion, demonstrating exceptional collaboration across departments. We expect a high level of accountability in driving measurable results. This is a high-ownership, hands-on role responsible for the full marketing ecosystem — including campaigns, digital marketing, partner initiatives, events, marketing tools and infrastructure, vendors, and sales enablement for the RAM organization.

Requirements

  • 7+ years of marketing experience within AgTech, agriculture, or agricultural services companies.
  • Experience leading B2B marketing initiatives tied to pipeline and revenue growth, demonstrating accountability for results.
  • Strong understanding of digital marketing, CRM systems, marketing automation, SEO, and online campaigns.
  • Experience managing vendors, agencies, and marketing technology platforms.
  • Ability to operate in a hands-on, high-ownership environment and collaborate across global teams, showing respect for diverse perspectives.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute marketing strategy aligned with business and revenue goals.
  • Drive demand generation, pipeline contribution, and marketing ROI.
  • Lead integrated marketing campaigns across digital, content, and partner channels, always with an eye toward innovation in reaching our audience.
  • Own the marketing ecosystem including marketing technology, digital platforms, and operational infrastructure.
  • Manage marketing vendors, agencies, and service providers, ensuring all relationships are built on respect and mutual benefit.
  • Oversee campaign systems, analytics tools, and digital asset management.
  • Develop and maintain marketing materials and tools supporting Regional Account Managers (RAMs), showing our commitment to their success.
  • Ensure alignment between marketing messaging and the sales process.
  • Lead co-marketing initiatives with strategic partners, fostering strong collaboration.
  • Support industry presence through trade shows, field events, and commercial initiatives.
  • Oversee creation and management of marketing assets including presentations, collateral, landing pages, and case studies.
  • Maintain consistent messaging and brand positioning, always respecting our brand identity.
  • Track marketing performance and campaign results.
  • Provide insights to improve marketing effectiveness and pipeline impact, taking full accountability for outcomes.
