About The Position

The Director of Marketing, DTC will run the paid-media engine for O Positiv, owning the strategy, testing frameworks, execution, and analysis of all performance marketing efforts across channels such as Meta, Snapchat, and Pinterest. This highly strategic and analytical role focuses on driving customer demand and acquiring new customers for O Positiv’s women’s wellness products by optimizing campaigns, managing creatives, and allocating budgets to scale revenue significantly. We’re seeking someone who is hyper-analytical, data-driven, and entrepreneurial—capable of managing all paid media channels, collaborating with multiple stakeholders, and executing projects on tight deadlines. Reporting to the VP of Growth Marketing, this leader will stay ahead of industry trends, make data-informed decisions to meet sharp KPIs, and thrive in a fast-paced startup environment. The Director of Marketing, DTC will also lead the media buying team and work cross-functionally with creative strategists, omnichannel strategists, and paid search leads to expand marketing efforts and advance the brand.

Requirements

  • 7+ years of experience in digital marketing and 2+ years of expeirence managing a team
  • 2+ years experience at a top tier management consultancy or investment bank OR 2+ years experience leading a paid media team at a DTC company
  • Interest in scaling the revenue of start ups for successful exit
  • Experience with data analysis (e.g. Excel)
  • Experience in Meta Ads Manager + relevant experience with additional paid channels
  • Bachelor’s Degree
  • Strong leadership & communication skills: listen, mentor, and teach by example
  • Ability to manage multiple moving pieces
  • Strong time management and prioritization skills
  • Adaptable to new social platforms and advertising technologies
  • Thoughtful and self-reflective, willingness to learn
  • Team-player, hard-working, organized, and goal-oriented
  • Excitement for startups and building from the ground up

Nice To Haves

  • Startup and/or e-commerce experience is a plus
  • Passion for e-commerce, consumer retail and/or digital marketing is a plus

Responsibilities

  • Own Acquisition Strategy
  • Determine where potential customers spend their time and design strategies to reach and acquire them
  • Deploy large budgets in performance media campaigns
  • Iterate and test messaging and tactics to better optimize costs to acquire customers
  • Lead Analytics and Insights
  • Design processes and dashboards to understand performance across a diverse set of channels
  • Figure out how to look for signs of successful campaigns and actions to take to scale
  • Evolve the organization’s knowledge of performance and how to predict success
  • Manage and Grow the Media Team
  • Oversee a growing team of media managers who run performance marketing campaigns
  • Lead and coach expert team members and understand how to grow their capabilities
  • Design processes to steer and optimize team activities
