About The Position

The Director of Marketing & Community Engagement is a senior leadership role responsible for strengthening LPX Group’s brand, external relationships, and internal alignment through clear ownership of marketing strategy and community presence. This role serves as a visible ambassador for LPX Group—internally and externally—and ensures the company is represented with professionalism, consistency, and purpose. LPX Group is comfortable outsourcing technical marketing execution. This role exists to provide leadership, judgment, accountability, and relationship-building that align marketing and community engagement efforts with business objectives and company values.

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, Communications, or a related field required; Master’s degree preferred.
  • Minimum of five (5) years of progressive experience in marketing, communications, community engagement, or related leadership roles.
  • Proven ability to represent an organization publicly and lead through influence.

  • Experience in construction, heavy civil, industrial, or similar industries preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Owns and directs LPX Group’s overall marketing strategy in alignment with business and growth objectives.
  • Manages and protects LPX Group’s brand identity across all internal and external communications.
  • Provides oversight and quality control for all public-facing materials, including digital and social media platforms.
  • Partners with executive leadership and Business Development to support market growth and customer relationships.
  • Develops and manages the marketing and community engagement budget.
  • Serves as a visible, relationship-driven representative of LPX Group within the community and industry.
  • Builds and maintains strong external relationships with civic organizations, nonprofits, trade associations, and industry partners.
  • Leads LPX Group’s participation in community events, sponsorships, charitable initiatives, and industry functions.
  • Ensures community engagement efforts align with LPX Group’s strategic priorities and brand positioning.
  • Acts as the internal leader for outsourced marketing partners, providing direction, standards, and accountability.
  • Regularly evaluates external marketing partners to ensure alignment with LPX Group’s needs.
  • Establishes goals, KPIs, and reporting to measure effectiveness and return on investment.
  • Demonstrates ownership by making sound decisions, anticipating issues, and reducing friction for other leaders.
  • Builds trust and alignment across the organization through consistency and follow-through.
