Requirements

  • 10+ years in strategic marketing or engagement roles, ideally in financial services, professional services, or B2B advisory.
  • Exceptional storytelling, writing, and brand development abilities.
  • Strong experience developing and driving the use of CRM systems and digital marketing analytics.
  • Comfortable engaging with executive leadership and contributing to firm-wide strategy.
  • Experience managing teams, agencies, and multi-office environments.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute the annual marketing and engagement strategy aligned to firm priorities and client experience objectives.
  • Manage the firm’s brand narrative to ensure consistent positioning across all markets, channels, and materials.
  • Lead the integrated planning calendar across thought leadership, digital, PR, events, and campaigns.
  • Serve as the final approval for all major marketing initiatives and brand expressions.
  • Serve as liaison to the Business Development team, manage the Hubspot > Salesforce integration alongside Relationship Managers and IT, and support monthly prospect check-ins with data and information.
  • Lead development of segmentation and nurturing workflows alongside Senior Marketing Manager.
  • Partner with executive leadership to support Balentine’s business pillars (Family & Legacy, Business Advisory, Private Capital, Investment Strategy, etc.).
  • Collaborate with Relationship Managers to support client/prospect pipeline health, COI engagement, and client retention.
  • Foster team’s alignment with HR on employer brand and internal communications where needed.
  • Ensure all messaging reflects Balentine’s tone, intellectual rigor, and service ethos.
  • Oversee multi-format content (reports, articles, videos, email, website, Shorthand, social).
  • Maintain brand standards and ensure consistency and compliance.
  • Oversee PR strategy and high-stakes external communications.
  • Set strategic direction for website evolution, HubSpot optimization, and integrated CRM analytics (Salesforce + HubSpot).
  • Help create, monitor, and evolve KPIs to improve pipeline visibility, digital performance, and audience segmentation.
  • Drive a culture of constant iteration through quarterly reporting and insights reviews.
  • Support Client Experience to develop the strategic framework for events (themes, audiences, desired outcomes) and provide project management for the event process.
  • Collaborate with leadership on sponsorship decisions and ensure alignment with business goals, consistent brand execution, and optimized outcomes.
  • Guide creative direction for invitations, messaging, and attendee experience.
  • Delegate (and oversee) operational execution to internal support teams or external partners.
  • Manage and coach the Senior Manager and Marketing Associate; responsible for performance reviews + development plans.
  • Oversee outsourcing strategy for design, PR, video, photography, and production.
  • Develop clear workflows and lead the team’s service to internal clients.
