About The Position

The Director of Marketing and Admissions plays a pivotal role in overseeing and managing the entire admissions process within a healthcare setting. This position is responsible for ensuring that prospective residents and their families receive compassionate, clear, and comprehensive guidance from initial inquiry through admission. The director will develop and implement innovative strategies to improve admissions efficiency and resident satisfaction, while maintaining compliance with managed care regulations and organizational policies. Collaborating closely with clinical teams and educational program coordinators, the Director of Marketing and Admissions ensures that all admissions align with the facility's standards and resident care goals. Ultimately, this role drives the growth and reputation of the organization by fostering a welcoming environment and continuously seeking new methods and principles to enhance the admissions experience.

Requirements

  • Minimum of 1 year of experience in admissions or resident intake within a healthcare setting.
  • Demonstrated knowledge of managed care systems and healthcare regulations.
  • Strong leadership and team management skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with a proven cheerful and empathetic disposition.

  • Experience developing and managing educational programs related to resident care or admissions.
  • Familiarity with electronic health records (EHR) and admissions software.

Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage the admissions team to provide exceptional service to prospective residents and their families.
  • Develop and implement admissions policies and procedures that comply with healthcare regulations and managed care requirements.
  • Collaborate with clinical staff and educational program leaders to coordinate resident admissions and ensure seamless transitions.
  • Analyze admissions data and trends to identify opportunities for process improvements and increased efficiency.
  • Engage in community outreach and marketing efforts to promote the organization's services and attract new residents.
  • Train and mentor admissions staff to maintain a cheerful disposition and uphold high standards of professionalism.
