Wherever there is a need for motive power, EnerSys offers the perfect energy solution.  Job Purpose The Director of Marketing, Motive Power Americas is a key leader within the Motive Power Global Marketing Team, driving regional marketing strategy and execution for EnerSys' Motive Power business across the Americas. This segment serves diverse industries including material handling, transportation, rail, marine, automotive, and more. Reporting to the Senior Director of Motive Power Global Marketing, this role leads all marketing functions in the Americas and partners closely with Sales, Product Management, Service, Engineering, and IT teams. The Director develops and executes marketing strategies, campaigns, product launches, and programs that strengthen brand presence, drive growth, and align with global objectives. Collaboration with regional and global leadership ensures marketing initiatives support revenue and operating earnings goals.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, or related field (Master's preferred).
  • 8+ years of marketing experience, ideally in material handling or transportation industries.
  • Strong leadership, communication, and strategic planning skills.
  • Experience with Salesforce CRM, campaign automation, and project management tools.

Nice To Haves

  • PMP certification and advanced digital marketing knowledge preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Strategy & Leadership: Define and execute regional marketing plans; lead and mentor the Americas marketing team; align objectives through X-Matrix planning.
  • Brand & Campaign Management: Drive product and brand strategies; oversee creative development and marketing collateral; execute multi-channel campaigns to generate leads and support sales.
  • Sales Enablement: Develop training materials and tools aligned with Challenger Sales methodology; enhance sales effectiveness and product knowledge.
  • CRM & Lead Management: Optimize Salesforce segmentation, reporting, and KPI frameworks; ensure effective lead qualification and conversion.
  • Agency & Vendor Oversight: Manage external partners and creative agencies to deliver high-quality, on-brand campaigns.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with Sales, Product Management, Service, and IT to ensure cohesive go-to-market strategies.
  • Market & Competitive Insight: Monitor trends, analyze product viability, and provide input for forecasting and business planning.
  • Budget & Planning: Develop and manage annual marketing plans and budgets; ensure timely, cost-effective program delivery.
  • Events & Trade Shows: Plan and execute regional events and trade shows to enhance brand visibility and customer engagement.
