About The Position
We are seeking a dynamic and strategic Director of Manufacturing – Americas to lead and transform our Engineering Shapes & Solutions manufacturing and supply chain operations across the region. This executive leadership role is responsible for driving operational excellence, scaling manufacturing capabilities, and delivering world-class performance in safety, quality, service, and cost efficiency. This leader will play a critical role in shaping the future of our manufacturing network—aligning operations with long-term business strategy while enabling sustainable growth and competitive advantage.
Requirements
- Minimum 15 years of leadership experience in multi-site, high-tech manufacturing environments
- Proven success leading large-scale operations and transforming underperforming sites
- Strong knowledge of EHS and Quality systems (e.g., RC14001 or similar)
- Deep expertise in Lean, Six Sigma, and continuous improvement methodologies
- Strong financial acumen with experience managing P&L and driving margin expansion
- Ability to manage complex priorities across multiple sites and functions
- Proven ability to lead, influence, and align cross-functional teams
- Strong communication, interpersonal, and team-building skills
- Demonstrated ability to make high-impact decisions in complex environments

- Experience in plastics manufacturing and/or fabrication preferred
Responsibilities
- Lead the development and execution of the regional manufacturing strategy aligned to business growth objectives
- Serve as a key member of the Americas Leadership Team, contributing to budgeting, workforce planning, and capital strategy
- Define and communicate a clear manufacturing vision aligned with global and regional priorities
- Drive performance across safety, quality, service reliability, productivity, and cost control
- Lead execution of the S&OP plan, aligning staffing, production scheduling, and inventory optimization
- Build and standardize operating systems across multiple manufacturing sites
- Develop and lead a high-performing, multi-site manufacturing organization
- Strengthen leadership capability and build future-ready talent pipelines
- Foster a culture of accountability, performance, and continuous improvement
- Lead large-scale transformation initiatives across multiple sites
- Drive Lean, Six Sigma, and structured problem-solving methodologies
- Improve operational efficiency, reduce costs, and enhance capital effectiveness
- Champion a customer-centric culture supporting commercial growth
- Strengthen collaboration with suppliers and customers to enhance supply chain resiliency
- Ensure alignment across operations, commercial, and finance teams
