About The Position

We are seeking a dynamic and strategic Director of Manufacturing – Americas to lead and transform our Engineering Shapes & Solutions manufacturing and supply chain operations across the region. This executive leadership role is responsible for driving operational excellence, scaling manufacturing capabilities, and delivering world-class performance in safety, quality, service, and cost efficiency. This leader will play a critical role in shaping the future of our manufacturing network—aligning operations with long-term business strategy while enabling sustainable growth and competitive advantage.

Requirements

  • Minimum 15 years of leadership experience in multi-site, high-tech manufacturing environments
  • Proven success leading large-scale operations and transforming underperforming sites
  • Strong knowledge of EHS and Quality systems (e.g., RC14001 or similar)
  • Deep expertise in Lean, Six Sigma, and continuous improvement methodologies
  • Strong financial acumen with experience managing P&L and driving margin expansion
  • Ability to manage complex priorities across multiple sites and functions
  • Proven ability to lead, influence, and align cross-functional teams
  • Strong communication, interpersonal, and team-building skills
  • Demonstrated ability to make high-impact decisions in complex environments

Nice To Haves

  • Experience in plastics manufacturing and/or fabrication preferred

Responsibilities

  • Lead the development and execution of the regional manufacturing strategy aligned to business growth objectives
  • Serve as a key member of the Americas Leadership Team, contributing to budgeting, workforce planning, and capital strategy
  • Define and communicate a clear manufacturing vision aligned with global and regional priorities
  • Drive performance across safety, quality, service reliability, productivity, and cost control
  • Lead execution of the S&OP plan, aligning staffing, production scheduling, and inventory optimization
  • Build and standardize operating systems across multiple manufacturing sites
  • Develop and lead a high-performing, multi-site manufacturing organization
  • Strengthen leadership capability and build future-ready talent pipelines
  • Foster a culture of accountability, performance, and continuous improvement
  • Lead large-scale transformation initiatives across multiple sites
  • Drive Lean, Six Sigma, and structured problem-solving methodologies
  • Improve operational efficiency, reduce costs, and enhance capital effectiveness
  • Champion a customer-centric culture supporting commercial growth
  • Strengthen collaboration with suppliers and customers to enhance supply chain resiliency
  • Ensure alignment across operations, commercial, and finance teams
