Requirements
- Thorough understanding of life safety requirements in skilled nursing facilities in Washington state
- Excellent technical and mechanical skills
- Experience in light carpentry and plumbing
- Familiarity with skilled nursing Life Safety codes and regulations
Nice To Haves
- Experience with maintaining HVAC systems
- Prior experience as a maintenance director
Responsibilities
- Maintaining the physical plant and grounds
- Performing preventive maintenance on all equipment
- Conducting building repairs to ensure equipment is maintained in a safe and good operating order
- Interacting with the fire marshal
- Keeping organized records and documentation of all regulatory testing
- Reaching out to vendors as needed for work requiring a high level of expertise or licensing to perform
- Understanding budget parameters
- Supervising the housekeeping and laundry supervisor
- Overseeing all employees in the housekeeping and laundry department
