About The Position

As the Machine Learning Platform Leader, you will be the architect and visionary behind the infrastructure that scales our AI and ML capabilities. You won’t just manage a team, you will be building the platform that allows data scientists and engineers to develop, deploy, and monitor models with speed and reliability. Your goal is to speed up our data acquisition, ML training, deployment and monitoring for production grade models, ensuring our ML lifecycle is seamless, automated, and fast.

Requirements

  • 5+ years in ML, Software Engineering or Data Science, with 2+ years in a leadership role.
  • Technical Depth: Mastery of MLOps principles and distributed systems.
  • Tooling: Experience with orchestration tools and ML frameworks.
  • Cloud Mastery: High proficiency in AWS and Snowflake ecosystems.
  • Leadership: Proven ability to mentor senior engineers and influence stakeholders at the C-suite level.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with Camera and LiDAR data (PCAPs)

Responsibilities

  • Strategic Vision: Define the roadmap for the internal ML platform and ML Ops, taking ownership of existing tools and selecting the right additions to meet business needs.
  • Engineering Leadership: Lead a cross-functional team of ML Engineers and specialists to build robust CI/CD pipelines for machine learning.
  • Standardization: Establish highly optimized automations for model development, ensuring consistency in feature stores, model versioning, and deployment strategies.
  • Scalability & Cost: Optimize cloud infrastructure to handle massive datasets while maintaining a keen eye on compute costs and resource allocation.
  • Governance & Monitoring: Implement comprehensive monitoring for model drift, latency, and bias to ensure our models remain high-performing.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Act as the primary interface between Data Science teams, Emerging Technologies and Core Engineering to remove bottlenecks in production pipelines.
