About The Position

Preferred Qualifications The ideal candidate will possess the following: Proven track record of leadership in a museum setting; deep knowledge of museum practices per AAM standards, and the accreditation process Demonstrated ability to lead and manage a small, high performing team through a period of growth; collegial in style and approach; demonstrated transparency and respect for others Understanding the dynamics of working within a complex institutional setting; an appreciation of WSU’s mission and a willingness to immerse oneself into the fabric of the campus and community Ability to establish and cultivate mutually beneficial partnerships that will enhance JSMOA’s impact Demonstrated fundraising skills and proven ability to communicate with diverse groups Exemplary interpersonal and communication skills
